Village of Corinth Partners with Philmet to Seek $2.5 Million Restore NY Grant

Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward,   representatives from Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand and NYS Senator Hugh Farley’s office, representatives from Saratoga Economic Development Corp, Mayor Brad Winslow and Town Supervisor Richard Lucia will be on hand for a press conference scheduled for this Wednesday, August 22, at 12:30 at the former IP Mill on Pine St to kick off the Village of Corinth’s and Philmet’s joint Restore NY Communities Initiative grant application.  If awarded, the grant will be used to renovate an existing 450,000 sq ft building for Philmet’s proposed plastics plant. Corinth Mayor Brad Winslow and the Village Board pledged support in applying for this grant as an important step in bringing back jobs to Corinth and lowering the property taxes of our residents. Residents are invited to attend to show their support.
