A special meeting, budget workshop, of the Village Board was held March 13, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Village Hall, 244 Main Street.

Mayor Morreale called the meeting to order.

Roll Call: Trustee Enekes, Trustee Halliday, Trustee Kelly & Trustee Pasquarell were present.

The Board discussed an additional line to the policy of Village employees responding to fire calls during work hours to require the employee to notify their supervisor they are attending a fire call.

Motion by Trustee Pasquarell, seconded by Trustee Enekes, approved including notification to supervisor as a requirement of Village employees responding to fire calls.

Clerk/Treas Colson outlined the status of the current 2019/2020 proposed budget.   The proposed budget includes a tax rate of $4.95 per thousand, same as 2018/2019, increases in wages, purchase of two tandem trucks for the DPW, a $200,000 contribution to the Fire Equipment reserve and no contribution to the DPW Equipment reserve.  Clerk/Treas Colson also recommended the Board hold the current water & sewer Minimum Value Charges (MVC) at their current rate until more usage data is collected.

Clerk/Treas Colson stated she would be filing and presenting the tentative budget at the March 20, 2019 meeting.

Motion by Trustee Halliday, seconded by Trustee Kelly, that Board adjourn, 6:37 PM.
