A special meeting of the Village Board was held as a budget workshop February 13, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Village Hall, 244 Main Street.

Mayor Morreale called the meeting to order.

Roll Call: Trustee Enekes, Trustee Halliday, Trustee Kelly, and Trustee Pasquarell were present.
Also present: DPW Supt Lozier, Fire Chief Kelley and Clerk-Treas Colson.

Supt Lozier presented his 2019/2020 budget requests to the Board.  Supt Lozier proposed buying one tandem truck with plow from the budget and a second from the reserve account.  Supt Lozier also requested purchase of portable lifts for the garage from the upcoming budget.  The Board discussed placing $100,000 in the DPW equipment reserve for 2019/2020.

At 6:30 PM Supt Lozier was excused.

Chief Kelley presented his 2019/2020 budget request to the Board.  Topics discussed included the possible expenditure of up to $200,000 from the equipment reserves to replace air packs if the grant the Village applied for is denied.  Chief Kelley also discussed plans to roll over funds from the 2018/2019 budget that were not used to resurface the apparatus bay floor to the expenditure for the project in the 2019/2020 fiscal year.  The Board discussed placing $200,000 in reserves for Fire Equipment in the 2019/2020 fiscal year.

Motion by Trustee Pasquarell, seconded by Trustee Halliday, that Board adjourn, 7:27 PM.
