A budget workshop/special meeting of the Village Board was held March 21, 2014 at 5:00 PM in the Village Hall, 244 Main Street.

Mayor Morreale called the meeting to order.

Roll Call: Trustee Denno, Trustee Enekes, Trustee Halliday and Trustee Saunders were present.
Also present: Chief Kelley, Clerk/Treas Colson

NEW BUSINESS

The Board discussed the proposed budget extensively; several changes to the tentative budget were approved including several increases to community services such as an additional $7,950 to replace a few trees on Main St, and an increase of $6,500 to the Emergency Management line in order to purchase radios for the Emergency Management team.  The Board also expressed interest in changing the LOSAP minimum age and increasing the monthly pay-out amounts.  The Board decided to explore how much those changes to the program would cost and possibly incorporate them in the 2015/2016 fiscal year.  It was agreed that the tax rate will not change this year.

At 5:55 Chief Kelley was excused.

Motion by Trustee Saunders, seconded by Trustee Halliday, that board adjourn, 7:50 PM.
