A special meeting of the Village Board was held February 26, 2013 at 6:00 PM in the Village Hall, 244 Main St.

Mayor Morreale called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call: Trustee Denno and Trustee Enekes were present. Trustee Saunders was excused.  Trustee Halliday arrived at 6:30 PM.

Also Present: Supt Lozier & Clerk/Treas Colson

NEW BUSINESS

Supt Lozier presented the Board with his proposals for the 2013/2014 budget.  Items Supt Lozier wishes the Board to consider include an increase in salary as well as the possible placement of a new employee at the DPW with the potential for a current DPW employee to be transferred to the water/sewer department.  Supt Lozier also distributed detailed equipment replacement projections as well as an inventory and timeline of infrastructure improvements and replacements.  Given the potential purchase of equipment in the next two to three years, Supt Lozier asked the Board to increase the reserve contribution accordingly.

The Board discussed the proposals in detail with no decisions at this time.

Motion by Trustee Enekes, seconded by Trustee Denno, that Board adjourn, 7:35 PM.
